1. Flashing car lights to give notice of a speed trap

You have to admit it… Flashing your car lights to warn of a speed trap feels illegal. Well, it’s not. In February 2014, a federal judge ruled that motorists have the right to flash their headlights in order to warn other drivers of speed traps and law enforcement officers.

Before that, police officers were entitled to stop those who flicked on and off the headlights of their vehicles. Now, you can flash your headlights to warn others… It is completely legal in most states. In fact, this act is considered Freedom of Speech, and it is protected under the First Amendment.

  1. This is not correct, its called “public Intoxication” and even if you are not completely intoxicated, that is how it will be filed. Your only recourse is a lab test which will likely reveal any illegal substances in your system. If you beat the drunk test the cop will claim you were intoxicated and mearly recovered due to the time it took to get the test. If you have anything in your system you will be charged and you will loose. I have seen this happen to several of the employees that have worked for me.
