Delaware
- Annual marijuana use 16.9 percent
Now, using marijuana for recreational purposes is completely prohibited. Even a small possession of marijuana is seen as a civil penalty. In fact, the possession of 1 ounce can be punished by three months of jail and a $575 fine.
Right before COVID-19 entered our lives, a bill regarding recreational marijuana use was pending in this state. However, it seems that they are planning to do the same next year. So, Delaware could become the next U.S. state to fully legalize marijuana for adult use in 2021.

I would like separate dispensaries for the recreational people. Alot of time what I am looking for is sold out because of the recreational people who their just to get high . I’m not . I am sure their won’t be as much product sold out .I got for medical reasons ,pain inflammation, anxiety ,focus .I think patience should have patient only dispensaries. Patients priority first is all we get in line now .Their is still a much longer wait because recreational people shop longer it seem to me and buy more at one time .I left a dispensery I really liked because this problem . Now I have to run all over to get what I am looking for . Patient only dispensaries . Not happy 😒
