Moving Can Become a Challenge
We all dream about getting the home we’ve always wanted and spending the rest of our retirement there. Unfortunately, most retirees fail to do it.
Statistics showed that only 5.7% of Americans over 65 years old moved to another residence within four years. Retirees who do move, though, move into the same state and sometimes even the same county, the Census Bureau found.
Only 1% of U.S. retirees moved to another state and 0.3% relocated overseas. Whether it’s for health reasons, family or finances, it’s important to stay realistic when it comes to these decisions.
