‘What happens if I don’t receive the money anytime soon?’
This is probably the question that haunts most Americans right now. However, if you’re eligible, don’t panic. You will get your money someway.
At the very worst, you can easily claim your stimulus payment as a tax credit on the 2020 income tax return; if you’re eligible, of course. Indeed, this could be quite unpleasant to happen, but at least you’ll get your money.
Important info: Singles who have 87,000 income and married couples who file together having $174,000 will NOT get any money. But children who qualify for a stimulus payment will get $600 this time, instead of $500 (the first stimulus payment for eligible children).
