8. My mom took my phone
Parents always have to deal with their children’s tantrums and make decisions for their own good. However, a teenager in Spain decided that his mother was out of the line when she tried to make him study.
Four years ago, a mother took her son’s mobile phone to get him to study. Apparently, the 15 year old found this outrageous enough to sue his mother seeking reimbursement for his legal expenses and jail time for the parent.
Fortunately, the judge ruled in favor of the mother agreeing that she was in the position to act that way and made the right call in order to make her son hit the books.
