Prison sentences are bad enough as they are, but what if your entire family would take the blame? If you commit a crime in North Korea, your siblings get the same sentence. And by ‘siblings’ I mean the bloodline for three generations (grandparents, parents and children).
This could mean labor, imprisonment and possibly other forms of torture yet to be officially acknowledged. The law is so cruel that the United Nations are really thinking whether the country is committing crimes against humanity or not.
