In the United States there are several laws in the Constitution that will make you think they are strict, some ridiculous and some of them are just confusing.
There are lots of exceptions, small, harmless actions that you normally do without a care in the world, which in some states can get you in serious trouble. However, in the majority of the states there are some ludicrous rules which will leave you absolutely baffled.
