There’s a messed-up situation between the two since they actually got divorced twice. They met in college and decided to get married back in 1963. After 23 years of marriage, they filed for divorce, getting married one last time in 1991.
The second marriage lasted nine years, and according to the divorce settlement, Elain received $850 million in 2010 and a 9% share in Wynn Resorts. However, it wasn’t the end of the saga because Steve was accused of sexual harassment after eight years, forcing him to sell his shares. As a result, Elain is the largest shareholder in the company with a $2 billion net worth.
