1. Early Filers Eliminate Tax Deadline Stress
Stressed over taxes? You’re not alone, which shouldn’t come as a big surprise. As many as 52% of taxpayers are stressed when they have to deal with taxes, according to a TaxSlayer survey.
Butting them off for as long as possible might sound like a good idea, but it’s actually far from it. You’re only going to make it worse for yourself down the line. You should try setting up a fake deadline for yourself. That way, while you may still feel stressed over the taxes themselves, at least you won’t feel added pressure from the looming deadline in April.
And to make it better, you should try celebrating after you’re done, either by getting yourself a well-deserved meal or beverage or even dancing in your pajamas in the middle of the day in your living room. It’ll help you release all that stress and, in theory, should help you achieve the same results next year!
