5. Nancy Pelosi
This woman is one of the most representative figures in the United States. She started her career in the 70s, and in 1976 she was elected as a member of the Democratic National Committee. It is no surprise that she held on to this position for twenty years. She has always fought for human rights, and in 2009 she not only saved many American jobs but also cut taxes for 95% of working Americans.
She always wanted to create a better economy and somehow rebuild America by keeping people here. One of her biggest goals was to remove corruption from our country.
Like other politicians that we’ve mentioned before, Nancy’s wealth is based on speaking fees and investments, but she is also married to a former congressman. Her husband is Paul Frank Pelosi, and he is the founder of Financial Leasing Services.
In 2007, she was elected the first woman to serve as Speaker of the House. At this moment, Nancy Pelosi’s wealth is $120 million.
