Veterans Day Travel and Recreation Discounts
9/11 Memorial and Museum: Between November 7 and November 18, Veterans can visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum for free. In addition, three family members can also get half-price tickets.
Aquarium of the Pacific: This recreation destination offers free admission to veterans and military members on November 11.
B&Bs for Vets: this event includes a variety of inns across the U.S. This year, veterans will get a minimum of one room for one night for free, and most innkeepers might give them away on November 10, so it’s best to check ahead of time if you’re planning on going on a mini-vacation.
Cincinnati Zoo: regardless of age or occupation, everyone loves a visit to the zoo! On November 11, all military members will receive free admission at the Cincinnati Zoo. Of course, you shouldn’t go alone! You can also purchase up to six half-price tickets for your immediate family.
Colonial Williamsburg: during Veteran’s Day weekend, make sure to visit Colonial Williamsburg. All military families will receive free admission.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium: past and present military members can take their immediate families to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Admission will be free on November 11. Don’t forget your military ID or proof of service!
FantasyWorld Resort: From November 1st to November 30, active-duty members and veterans will receive the Patriots Salute Package. It includes discounts on stays within this time period, with a two-night minimum.
Jefferson Lines: Traveling on Veteran’s Day just got easier thanks to Jefferson Lines. If you’re departing between November 11 and November 26, tickets will be free for veterans and active military personnel. Best of all, the offer includes both one day and round trips. Furthermore, for round trip tickets, you can return anytime through December 31.
Monticello: For Monticello Self-Guided Passes, the admission will be free for Veterans on November 11.

National WWI Museum and Memorial: WWI has undoubtedly shaped the world in its entirety. It’s never too late for a history lesson, and both active duty members and veterans can visit this museum and memorial for free between November 7 and November 15.
