In December 1994, Darryl Strawberry and his agent were indicted on federal tax evasion charges, alleging the troubled baseball star failed to report more than $500,000 in earned income from 1986 to 1990, reported USA Today. In February 1995, Strawberry pled guilty and was sentenced to three months prison time and three months of house arrest, according to The New York Times.
