7 Shocking U.S. Lawsuits Proving We’re a Crazy Nation

Robert Lee Brock vs… Himself?

I bet we all thought at some point that certain people just deserve to get to court. But have you ever thought about filing a lawsuit against.. yourself?

Well, that’s exactly what U.S. citizen Robert Lee Brock did. Brock was sentenced to 25 years at the Indian Creek Correctional Center in Virginia for drinking, breaking and entering. He was supposed to pay $5 million, but didn’t have the money – so he sued himself for committing crimes that ‘violate his religious beliefs.’

“I want to pay myself 5 million dollars but ask the state to pay it in my behalf since I can’t work and am a ward of the state.”

The judge called it an ‘innovative approach to civil rights litigation,’ but it still was ‘totally ludicrous.’

  1. Judge Thomas of Ohio violence my civil rights and my bill rights in his bias court room of law. I can prove it.

  2. assuming that his lawyer got paid by the plantiff, Mr. Aitken, instead of taxpayers, it appears to be money well spent. arne. From this Mr. Austin would have gotten hours and hours of entertainment, physical activity, social contacts and probably even a job offer. If we taxpayers paid, then some form of re-imbursement needs to be devised. arne. ,
