7. Uber ruined a marriage
In 2017 Uber was sued by a Frenchman who claimed that Uber played a decisive role in ending his marriage and he asks for $48 million.
The man stated that he borrowed his wife’s phone to use the Uber app and after that a glitch caused the app to send constant notifications of his location. This continued even after he logged off the mobile app.
His spouse was disturbed by some of his movements and so she decided she had enough and divorced him. It is unknown how the trial went down and what was the outcome.
