American citizens born in 1956 have their full retirement age climbing to 66 years and 4 months. By full retirement age, the authorities refer to receiving full Social Security benefits. Apparently, the plan is to increase the age 2 months up until everyone born later than 1960 reaches age 67 for retirement.
