1. Freedom of speech
In 1791, this law was founded and is actually one of the best things that happened to America. Every human being should have the right to speak freely! “Everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference, and everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression.”
You must also know that there are a few categories of speech that are not protected from government restrictions. These are defamation, fraud, threats, fighting words, and obscenity.
2. Right to bear arms
This was also an important law simply because it made it legal for people to have a gun. It came in handy for self-defense or for people just to feel safe.
