4. Want a taser? Sure, no problem
If you want to feel safer in your house or on the streets, but you don’t know how to use a gun and want something less dangerous, it is legal to purchase a taser in 48 states.
Only law enforcement is allowed to own one in all of the states.
Since taser devices and stun guns are not considered fire arms, citizens can use it too, but make sure to check if it’s possible to own one in your state.
5. What about a flamethrower?
A flamethrower is not considered a firearm either. That being said, in 48 states the federal law does not restrict the private ownership of a flamethrower, California and Maryland being the only two states forbidding it.
