Fisherman
Fishing might seem like a hobby career for many, but it is in fact the most deadly profession in the US. Of all the professions measured in the National Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries, it had the highest fatality rate of a startling 99.8 per 100,000. That was the equivalent of 41 deaths in 2017. Obvious risks include drowning, accidents at sea and injuries from machinery.
