Grain miller
You might have idyllic bygone images of farm workers milling grain out in the fields, but today the profession looks completely different. With huge factories, meticulous production lines and giant machines, sadly the industry claimed the lives of 10 people in 2017, at a rate of 5.9 fatal injuries per 100,000. Tragedies like grain elevators exploding and people falling into grain bins were among the causes of death.
