If you’re a senior living with an adult child, you won’t get the check. But, as with young adults and college students living with their parents, adult children supporting elderly parents can get an extra $1,400, as well. So, when we said that age doesn’t matter, we meant it.
Remember that anyone who can actually be claimed as a dependent on someone else’s tax return (usually a parent) doesn’t qualify for a third stimulus check. Although you won’t have the money in your pockets as a dependent, your adult child will most likely use them for your care and needs.
