Suppose you saw a funny picture online, such as a meme, and you can not resist the temptation of not sharing it on your Instagram or Facebook account. Well, has it ever crossed your mind before posting the picture that you could get sued for doing that?
A virtual intellectual property lawyer, Tanisia Nicole Moore, says that you could end up in a copyright lawsuit. And even if you did it thousands of times, it doesn’t mean the repercussions don’t exist. Most pictures (if not all of them) found on the Internet are protected through copyright law.
