Illinois

Not so long ago (in 2021, to be more precise), Illinois passed a law regarding culinary students. The law is called “Sip and Spit,” and it’s not about a restriction but an allowance. Culinary students who are under 21, of course, can drink alcoholic drinks. Keep in mind that it’s for their learning process only. If you’re a culinary student in Illinois, you still won’t be able to drink beer with your older friends at the local pub.

Indiana

If you live in Indiana, let’s hope that your horse comes with a speedometer… Why? Because it is illegal to ride your horse above 10 MPH. This law was actually enshrined back in 1975, and it basically considers all horses, no matter if we are talking about horse-drawn carriages as motor vehicles. How many horses does your horse have?

Plus, if you want to kiss your wife and you live in Indiana, you can’t if you wear a mustache…

Iowa

Well… we thought that a law shouldn’t demand this, but apparently, Iowa had to do it. It is illegal to throw a brick onto a street, highway, or any public road. You can only do it if you have written permission in your hands from the City Council.
