4. Walking around while high
For obvious reasons, you can’t drive high, but it seems totally legal to walk around while high. Still, being high and causing disturbance can result in jail time. In general, all states have the same laws regarding the influence of substances.
If you disturb the peace by harassing your neighbors or other people or even endangering them and yourself due to substance use, the police won’t be friendly. Therefore, it’s a good idea to stay in the comfort of your own home while being high. Without even realizing it, you could break other laws, and your situation could lead to other complications.
