Phones… So, So Many Phones!

As he used his home office as his principal place of business, he decided to deduct a lot of expenses, including the cost of utilities. Included in these costs were five business telephones and a cell phone.
The Tax Court allowed him a $6.500 write-off for the telephone expenses, though they did deny some of his other deductions. I suppose it just proves that even attorneys can get it wrong sometimes when it comes to taxes.
