6. Custom Agents
All customs agents are working for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), which is actually an agency of the United States Department of Homeland Security. The CBP’s primary role is to prevent terrorists and terrorist weapons from entering our country.
Wait…there’s more: They are also charged with facilitating international trade, collecting import duties, and enforcing U.S. trade laws. If you see yourself doing this job and you have a bachelor’s degree, or at least one year of graduate school in a law enforcement program, the CBP is still hiring.
