More Dependents Will Get a Stimulus Payment This Time
Good news for dependents all across the U.S., the third stimulus check now includes 13.5 million more people compared to the first two stimulus checks.
That’s because the new rules specifically changed the definitions of who is and isn’t considered a dependent. Now any child, as well as any adult dependents, are counted. Initially, only children under the age of 16 were counted. Anyone who was 17 or older did not qualify to receive any money from the government.
How does that change the amount of money your family could stand to receive this third time around?
