2. Wendy’s surprise sauce
Back in 2005 while having lunch at the famous fast food, Wendy’s, Anna Ayala found a human fingertip in her chili sauce. It didn’t take long until she took her story to the press and filled a lawsuit against the business.
Being a serious event and having such a big media coverage on the subject, the authorities decided to start an investigation to find the person whose fingertip was found in the dip. The accusations dropped, being clear to the local authorities that Ayala has planted the finger herself.
It didn’t shock anyone when Wendy’s filed a criminal complaint against the woman. The outcome? One year later, both Ayala and her husband were ordered a long-term prison sentence by a judge.
