9. Teacher sued after waking up student
Teachers know how inappropriate and rude it is when a student falls asleep right in the middle of their class. However this student from Danbury High School didn’t think it was such a big deal if he decided to take a nap during his math class.
The teacher was upset and disturbed by Vinicios Robacher’s behavior and woke him up by slamming her hand on his desk. Outraged by the educator’s actions, he decided to start the legal proceedings.
Robacher and his parents sued the teacher, stating their son lost hearing after she woke him up. The case was eventually dismissed.
