Drones down the drain
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives recently spent about $600,000 on six drones, but the unmanned aircraft were never actually used. According to the Department of Justice’s Inspector General, the ATF “encountered a series of technological limitations… and concluded that the (drones) were unsuitable to support operations.”
