What makes macaques randy?
In an effort to determine whether animals other than humans associate the color red with romance, the National Institutes of Health spent $230,000 on research that involved showing male and female macaques images such as seashells and other monkeys’ behinds. Red images apparently garnered a stronger reaction from the female macaques so that’s one small step for man and one giant leap for monkeys’ behinds.
