Frontier Communications FiOS TV: $74.99 per month plus fees

With many affordable streaming services now available, more people are opting to cut the cable cord. The average consumer spends $103.10 on cable per month, according to the Leichtman Research Group, while subscription streaming services cost less.

Netflix can cost as little as $7.99 per month, and Hulu can cost as little as $5.99 per month for the first year. Amazon Prime Video is included with the $119 yearly Prime membership fee — which helps make Prime membership worth the money — or it can be purchased for $12.99 per month. Subscribing to all three will cost you only $26.97 each month, which means you’ll save about over $500 each year compared to the average monthly cable fee.
