If you need extra time to file your taxes, the IRS can offer you an extra six months after the April deadline if you ask for it. Unfortunately, many U.S. citizens think that they also have six more months until they have to pay their taxes. That’s wrong.
Everybody has to pay their taxes until April. You can only get more time to file them, but the cash needs to come first.
