If you notice that one of them appears in a location where you have never been before, it could be a scam.

The biggest red flag of all when it comes to credit card fraud is finding unknown purchases on your bank account statement. Unfortunately, this type of fraud can happen at any time. That’s why you should always be vigilant and check your bank account on a regular basis, maybe a couple times a day.

Most banks have mobile applications, and it might be easy to check your account from the comfort of your own home.
