7. End of life wishes-healthcare

By the time your will is going to be read, no one will be able to do something about this direction anymore. Make sure that you have talked to your health care agent about what your wishes are, before it’s too late.

8. Long explanations about who gets what

This is one of the things you really must avoid putting in your will! Most people tend to write long explanations about why somebody gets that specific thing or why a relative has been disinherited.

There could be a lot of reasons why you took this decision. But putting a whole explanation in your will is definitely not a good idea.

Keep in mind that everything that is written in the testament will pass through probate. It doesn’t matter how you choose to draft your will. The most important thing is that you need to get started as soon as possible.

Only by doing this, will bring you and your family the peace of mind you deserve.

Make a list with things you own and try to distribute them to each relative you want. Figuring out the best amount of information you need towards this might be confusing, so last but not least, try and contact a local estate attorney who will know exactly what the laws are, and can give you the best advice on what to include in your will based on your desires.
