If you thought sexualized ads couldn’t lead to ridiculous lawsuits, you’re wrong!

Richard Overton, from Michigan, sued Bud Light for $10,000 because it didn’t offer the ‘scenic tropical settings [and] beautiful women and men engaged in endless and unrestricted merriment.’

In other words, one of the early Bud Light ads depicted a fantasy world where people would get to if they drank a cup. Overton took the ad so literally, he sued the company saying the misleading ad caused him mental injury, financial loss and emotional distress.

From this Mr. Austin would have gotten hours and hours of entertainment, physical activity, social contacts and probably even a job offer.
