6. Pepsi stole my idea
Did it ever happen to you to see a new marketing campaign and think: ,,Hey that was my idea”? Well, that was the case for two men who accused PepsiCo of stealing their idea.
PepsiCo was sued by two Wisconsin men who, back in 1981, allegedly told someone about their idea for bottled water. Charles A. Joyce and James R. Voight claimed that 15 years later, the giant has used their idea to create Aquafina water.
In the beginning, a judge offered them a $1.26 billion default judgment. However, later the same judge gave permission to Pepsi to dissolve the ruling.
