9. Andrew Jackson

Soldier, statesman, lawyer, Military Governor, US Senator, a US House of Representatives Member, and eventually the 7th President of the United States, Andrew Jackson was a super ambitious person.

Jackson was admitted to the North Carolina bar back in 1787, and, at only 21 he was appointed prosecuting attorney, although he never attended any law school; he basically learned law and everything about being a lawyer by “reading” under two different lawyers.

Nowadays, he is featured on the $20 bill, known for being the founder of the Democratic Party. Regardless of what some would say about his ethics, Andrew Jackson was a military hero and one of America’s most influential political figures.
