6. Review your medical bills
After hospitalization, you should check your medical bills. The amount of money you owe depends on many things such as whether you have insurance or not. However, all medical bills tell the same story (only the characters are changed).
Remember the services you received and the cost for each service, so that you’ll know if you’re being overcharged. Also, you should save all receipts as proof of payment.
