After more than two decades of being together (24 years, to be more precise), Bernie and Slavica Eccelstone filed for divorce back in 2008. Court papers suggest that Slavica, the former Armani model, accused Bernie of “unreasonable behavior,” saying that she wants the divorce because Bernie’s actions had caused her “stress and anxiety.”
Between us (and the rest of the Internet, of course), Bernie and Slavica formed a pretty odd couple, considering that she’s six-foot-tall and he’s five-foot-four. In the end, the former chief executive of the Formula One Group decided to give Slavica approximately $1.2 billion in divorce settlement behind closed doors.
