$40 billion
The Apple vs. Samsung patent war was extremely costly and exhausting for each side. The case between the two resulted in a settlement of $40 billion, to be more precise. Plus, it’s not the only battle the two have fought. Apple and Samsung filed over 50 lawsuits against each other in more than 20 countries.
However, the one we are about to expose is the most famous (expensive as well). The legal war started when Samsung started releasing its Android devices. Shortly after that, Apple chief executive called their product a “stolen” one.

Eventually, Apple was the winner of this battle.
