Depending on who you ask, most people would say that our legal system works pretty well. Sure, there are some chinks here and there that lawmakers are trying to fix, but you wouldn’t say there are any egregious issues with the same system, right?

Well, there are times where the law simply makes no sense. Certain laws around the U.S. have been put into palace a very long time ago, and since then, lawmakers have been much more focused on coming up with new rules, overruling others, and adding much-needed ones to take care of these gems found in our legislation.
