Election Day came with a lot of legislative changes, including legalizing recreational marijuana in several U.S. states. Arizona, Montana, New Jersey, and South Dakota passed legislation regarding the possession of marijuana by adults this November.

This means that 15 U.S. states have legalized recreational marijuana. The vast majority of U.S. states allow medical marijuana only. However, it appears that recreational marijuana has gained acceptance among Americans. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of U.S. states that are most likely to legalize recreational marijuana in the not too distant future.
