3. The timing of your third stimulus check
Another question that haunts most Americans is the check’s timing. By now, millions of people have their third stimulus checks in their pockets, but if you don’t, it’s a matter of time (assuming you are actually entitled to get the payment).
We can’t say for sure how long it will take for the IRS to send all stimulus payments, but your payment should arrive relatively soon. Make sure Uncle Sam has the pieces of information regarding your bank account right. If everything is correct, you’ll get it fast.
If not, you’ll most likely get your stimulus money as a paper check in the mail. Use Uncle Sam’s “Get My Payment” tool to check the status of your payment—it’s pointless to call the IRS or your bank since all the payments are automatic.
