2. Make sure you have enough evidence to prove your case

With the help of your lawyer, make a list of the possible evidence you have against the entity/person you want to sue. Things like records, documents, photographs, writings, and so on can be used in your case. After writing all of them, determine if they are in your possession or not.

If some aren’t, can you obtain them legally? Your lawyer will answer this type of question, but in order to do that, he/she has to know everything. After collecting all of them, you should keep an accurate record of all of them. Each piece of information is important, but some are more important than others, so order them based on importance.
