4. Determine the costs you will incur during the process 

Before filing a lawsuit against someone, first of all, you need to make sure that you’re financially prepared. Even when you have a strong case, you may not be able to win it if their lawyer is better than yours… Hiring a good lawyer is extremely costly, so it’s essential to have enough money to pay him/her.

Plus, it’s not just about paying your lawyer; we are also referring to legal fees and court costs; those need to be paid too. So, if you have enough resources available to sue them, go for it.  If not, there are other options, too, but you better win the case. A loan, for example, could get you out of trouble.
