10. The notice of payment
Some believe they will receive their stimulus money without knowing. Well, it won’t happen. Uncle Sam will most likely inform you about your payment. You will receive a notice or a letter from him.
As soon as an update is available, the agency will give you a notice of the payment. Uncle Sam suggests keeping your stimulus check notice with your other tax records. Why? Because you will need it to determine the Recovery Rebate tax credit for your 2021 tax return (next year).
