If you don’t know who Alec (art dealer and businessman) and Jocelyn Wildenstein (American socialite) are, you probably don’t like turning on your TV. The divorce between the two made headlines back in 1999, and for good reasons: it was one of the biggest divorce settlements in our history.
Jocelyn Wildenstein received $2.5 billion and a yearly annuity of $100 million for 13 years. However, the judge mentioned in the agreement that she could not use her alimony payments for cosmetic surgery. Apparently, the amount of money she received wasn’t enough since she eventually filed for bankruptcy in 2018.
